The dynamic Belgian company Lesage Champignons is one of the major players on the mushroom-growing market. Our experience in the sector enables us to guarantee quality and reliability the whole year through. Our production is solely devoted to the fresh food market at home and abroad. Today production is 20 times higher than in our initial years, now some 40 years ago.



QUALITY CONTROL

Each day Lesage Champignons employs 45 highly motivated people to guarantee the very highest quality. We also have our very own quality controllers to rely on. Two employees work full-time on the quality control of our mushrooms, so nothing less than a top product is presented to the market.



FLEXIBLE

As one of the larger production companies in Belgium, we choose to work with very direct lines to not compromise on flexibility and to be as equally flexible as a small business. Should a customer have a certain requirement, we will accordingly do our utmost to meet this need.

At Lesage Champignons, supplying top quality in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way go hand in hand. Our attention to corporate social responsibility means in practice:

• the use of green energy: the company uses solar panels so we provide for our own electricity needs
• an efficient transport system to avoid unnecessary journeys

• negligible use of resources
• re-use of packaging material
• recycled paper for labels and invoices
• social personnel policy

In 2014 we will be able to cut energy consumption even more by working with the very latest installations.
